Jarrad Anthony Weikel was a pharmacy student and US Marine Corps veteran, and passed away unexpectedly in February 2022.  He was only 40 years old, and we lost him far too soon. 

In the hope of providing a suitable memorial for a man of science and a US Marine, some of his friends established the Jarrad A. Weikel Scholarship Committee, which became the Weikel Memorial Scholarship Fund, to raise funds to endow scholarships in his memory at colleges and universities in his community. 

These scholarships are awarded to veterans (or the immediate family of a veteran), with demonstrated need, studying for a career in the medical or scientific fields.
